An iOS port of Snapcast is now available on GitHub. To use this app, you must have a Snapserver installed and operational within your local network.

The app enables users to both play and control other clients. Snapcast serves as a multiroom client-server audio player system, ensuring that all connected clients are precisely synchronized with the server for flawless audio playback. It extends the functionality of your current audio player to offer a multiroom solution akin to Sonos.

Audio captured by the server is distributed to connected clients, allowing multiple players to send audio to the server simultaneously and permitting clients to be grouped for synchronized audio streaming. One popular way to utilize Snapcast is in conjunction with the Music Player Daemon (MPD) or Mopidy.
